Description
You no doubt know the story of this LP: EMI Australia picking up on the incorrect album title and actually going as far as releasing it, then withdrawing it within a few days (literally 2 or 3 days in fact - I had a record store here at the time and I remember being asked to return the stock...we only had about 5 or 6 at the time...but not that we did return them!...of course). Catalogue number is: EMC.790180
Anyway...this is a promotional copy (only the second one I've ever seen...and if that mightn't mean much to you, bear in mind that I've spent ever since then looking at vinyl collections including those of ex-EMI staff...and have not seen but the two of them). EMI here stopped printing special promo labels about 2 years before this came out...reverting to just using a stock copy of the LP, with a large, oval promo sticker on the back, for promotional purposes.
CONDITION:
COVER: (VG++) ...has a couple of creases (in top left corner mainly, plus a couple on the spine)...and a small seam-split on the top - not much more than an inch long (2-3 cms.)...
VINYL: (MINT) ...utterly shiny, clean, and pristine...as new as the day it was pressed...NO spindle marks on labels...looks unplayed...
LABELS: (Side One: MINT Side Two: MINT ) ...
===============================Thanks for considering this item...Cheers, Jules.
