Description

This is a rare, Mint condition, unplayed copy of the Australian pressing of Mortal Sin’s album Mayhemic Destruction, released by Polygram Records Australia in 1987, Vertigo catalogue number 832747-1

One of the leading lights of the small, but fervent underground thrash/speed metal scene in Sydney in 1986, this was Mortal Sin’s debut album.

Recorded in just 3 days this album was self-financed and self-produced and released on their own label Mega Metal Productions in 1986. It attracted a great deal of interest from overseas thrash metal fans and the group were signed for international distribution by Vertigo Records who re-released, Mayhemic Destruction, worldwide in 1987. This is the version featured in this listing.

This vinyl LP has been stored in a climate controlled room since 1987 and has never been played. The disc was only removed from its sleeve today for the first time to be photographed, so there are no spindle marks on the labels and the cover and vinyl are all in excellent condition. There are very feint compression ring marks on the top of the front and back cover,(from being stored between Metallica and W.A.S.P!)

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thanks for viewing.
