Description
Up for auction is a long out-of-print Mosaic Records Box Set of " The Complete Studio Recordings Of The Miles Davis Quintet 1965 - June 1968.” The Catalogue Number is MQ10-177, and consists of 10 LPs pressed on heavy 180 gram vinyl. The set is hand-numbered #982 of a limited edition of 5,000. This set was purchased by me directly from Mosaic Records, and kept in air conditioned storage since then.
All of the LPs are in NEW/MINT Condition (LP 2 was played once). The LP-sized booklet is also in Like-New Condition. The outer box does have a 2½” split along the ribbon connecting the front and rear boxes (see third photo), but is otherwise in near mint condition with no other splits and virtually no surface wear. All three photos show the actual box set being auctioned.
Box set will be shipped in a protective polyethylene sleeve and inside a very sturdy 14" x 14" x 4" box with packing "peanuts" to ensure that the set (especially the corners) arrives undamaged. The net weight of the box set is heavy: 5 pounds 4 ounces. The shipping weight will be approximately 7 pounds.
All buyers also required to pay $2.00 charge to cover cost of special 14x14x4 shipping box. Due to the size and heavy weight of this item, other auction items cannot be shipped together with this item. Flat shipping rates are as follows:
