MOSAIC MQ6-179: The Atlantic New Orleans Jazz Sessions. Here is your chance to buy this deleted 6 LP box set containing all the fine music recorded by Atlantic Records in New Orleans 1958-62. Originally issued on 6 LPs: here can be found the sessions recorded by PAUL BARBARIN; BILLIE & DE DE PIERCE; JIM ROBINSON; GEORGE LEWIS; PUNCH MILLER; as well as THE YOUNG TUXEDO and EUREKA BRASS BANDS. Despite the destruction of several of the original master recordings, Mosaic has still managed to unearth several previously unissued performances. The sturdy presentation box also includes a beautifully produced booklet containing stunning photographs, detailed notes on the sessions as well as a full discography. The condition of both the discs and the box is 'as new'.
