Description
Up for auction is a long out-of-print Mosaic Records Box Set of "Complete Blue Note Recordings of George Lewis.” The Catalogue Number is MR6-109, and consists of 5 vinyl LPs.
This set was sold by Mosaic Records to me after the set was already officially out-of-print, as a quasi-promo or remainder copy. All of the LPs are in pristine NEW condition, and have never been played. The LP-sized booklet is also in NEW condition. However, the set was sold in a BLANK outer box (no front picture or silver spine lettering), though the blank outer-box is in Like-New condition with no notable surface wear, seam-splits or dents. Additionally, the inside cover of the LP-size booklet has a pen mark through the line where the set was normally hand-numbered. The set was normally a limited edition of 7,500.
Box set will be shipped in a protective polyethylene sleeve and inside a very sturdy 14" x 14" x 4" box with packing "peanuts" to ensure that the set (especially the corners) arrives undamaged. The net weight of the box set is 2 pounds 5 ounces. The shipping weight will be approximately 3-1/2 pounds.
