Description
Up for auction is a long out-of-print Mosaic Records Box Set of "The Complete Recordings of the Paul Desmond Quartet with Jim Hall” The Catalogue Number is MR6-120, and consists of 6 LPs. This is one of a limited edition of 7500 (early sets, including this one, were not hand-numbered).
The photos are of the actual box set being auctioned. The LPs and LP-size booklet are all in MINT condition; only Record 1 appears to have ever been played. The outer box is generally in Near-Mint condition, the spine is intact, and there are no splits in the front or back boxes; one edge of the box (between the spine and the front face) has a tiny nick (about 2 mm by 4 mm), which requires close inspection to notice.
Box set will be shipped in a protective polyethylene sleeve and inside a very sturdy 14" x 14" x 4" box with packing "peanuts" to ensure that the set (especially the corners) arrives undamaged. The net weight of the box set is heavy: 2 pounds 6 ounces. The shipping weight will be approximately 3½ pounds.
All buyers also required to pay $2.00 charge to cover cost of special 14x14x4 shipping box. USPS Insurance is available upon request. Flat shipping rates are as follows:
