Description

MOSE ALLISON i don't worry about a thing ATLANTIC LP jazz blues 1962 maroon

Rare original pressing LP from 1962 on Atlantic (AT. 1389), with maroon & silver grooved labels.

Labels state 'Made in Canada', sleeve states 'Printed in USA'.

Featuring the trio of Mose (piano & vocals), Addison Farmer (bass) and Osie Johnson (drums).

Mose has fused country blues and the modern piano tradition from Nat Cole to Thelonious Monk into a wry and unmistakably personal style.

Comes in original glossy card paste-on picture sleeve and has clear poly inner sleeve.

Ten tracks:

I DON'T WORRY ABOUT A THING
IT DIDN'T TURN OUT THAT WAY
YOUR MIND IS ON VACATION
LET ME SEE
EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS

Vinyl on side 1 in excellent condition. Side 2 in very good+ condition with a cluster of light surface marks on one side, although these only cause a bit of hardly noticeable surface noise in places.
Sleeve in excellent+ condition - looks clean and nicely tidy with just minor scuffs on three of the corners.
Inner sleeve is tidy with no edge splits.
