Description
This is a fine copy from an early (1970) German repressing of the sixth LP by the Mothers of Invention, originally released earlier that year. The LP is similar in sound to the sprawling 1969 double LP, Uncle Meat – unsurprisingly since some of its material was recorded concurrently – though it focuses more on the group's musical chops (all but the first and last tracks are instrumentals). The laminated gatefold jacket has a former owner's name written in pen on the front cover (see photo) and a few creases, and is otherwise close to pristine (EX). Visually, the disc is clean with some light scraping, and it plays with some light surface noise, occasional crackling, and a few stray light pops (EX-). The same former owner's name is written in pen on the side 1 label (see photo).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
