VERVE RECORDS - SVLP9239THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COPY OF THE VERY RARE 1969 COMPILATION ALBUM BY THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION RELEASED ON THE VERVE LABEL (NOT THE LATER POLYDOR REISSUE). THIS IS A COLLECTION OF EARLY MOTHERS' TRACKS FROM THEIR FIRST FIVE ALBUMS, INCLUDING SOME FROM "FREAK OUT", "LUMPY GRAVY", AND "WE'RE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY".
THIS HEAVYWEIGHT SLAB OF SIXTIES VINYL PLAYS WITHOUT SKIPS, STICKS, LOUD POPS OR ANY SIGNIFICANT BACKGROUND NOISE. THE VINYL RETAINS A DEEP SHEEN AND DELIVERS RICH AND CLEAR AUDIO. THERE ARE NO SIGNIFICANT VISUAL FAULTS.
THE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND UNMARKED.
THE FRONT-LAMINATED FLIPBACK GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE SLEEVE IS IN OUTSTANDING CLEAN CONDITION WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF MINOR CREASES ON THE REAR BOTTOM FLIPBACK SHOWING ANY SIGNS OF AGE. THE SPINE IS COMPLETELY RIGID AND READABLE. THE INNER SLEEVE IS PLAIN WHITE PAPER.
A REALY EXCELLENT COPY OF A HIGHLY COLLECTABLE AND VERY RARE RECORD.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
