Here is a gorgeous and in superb shape original Mono double album by The Mothers Of Invention titled "Freak Out"! But much more impressive is that it comes with the original "Freak Out Map" that was only obtainable by purchasing it separately. I picked this entire album up about 25 years ago. The map was included and, at that time, I had no idea that it was NOT issued with the album.

The record jacket has NOT been touched up and it exhibits almost no surface wear. The top and bottom seams are in beautiful shape as is the spine. Inside, there is a tear on the front lower bottom. I have never tried to mend it. On the back is a piece of clear scotch tape (center left) that you can barely see. I have no idea why it's there. Record One is MINT- on both sides with NO needle, No surface and NO paper scratches of scuffs. The vinyl is glossy and shiny! Record Two has the same condition on Side 4. Perfect! But, on Side 3, there are three light surface scuffs. There are NO scratches! No Paper Scratches. NO Surface scratches! The vinyl is glossy and shiny!

The Map is the size of a very large poster and it is well constructed. It is not manufactured using cheap paper say like the Beatles White Album Poster (which tears easily). This Map is shiny and almost feels cloth-like in texture although it is not cloth. There are NO tears or tape or pin holes. There are fold creases and other creases that would be associated with handling a larger Map like this. Very Clean! There were two versions of this Map. Version One does NOT advertise the upcoming release of the Mother's second album "Absolutely Free". Version Two DOES display the artwork of the unreleased "Absolutely Free" album. The Map here is version Two.
