Description
This is a fine copy from an early U.K. reissue of the second LP by British group Motörhead, originally released in 1979. The record sports a cleaner sound than the debut thanks to famed producer Jimmy Miller (who had worked previously with the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, and the Rolling Stones, among other groups), but is otherwise in the same hard rocking vein. (For those into the minutiae: "Manufactured and distributed by Polydor Ltd." is printed in the bottom right corner of the back cover of the jacket (originals have EMI, and a 1980 reissue listed in Discogs shows a sticker in that corner with Polydor printed on it). The disc labels, however, lack the second catalog number (2406 207) that appears on the labels of the 1982 reissue. A likely release date, then, would seem to be between the '80 and '82 reissues.) The jacket is close to M- with creasing along the spine and light corner, spine, and top seam wear (EX+). The disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays close to M- with a little light surface noise (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
