To celebrate the 50th anniversary of London's homegrown metal legends Motorhead comes this lush reissue of 1984's iconic compilation album, No Remorse, marking the end of their tenure with Bronze Records. After the departure of Brian "Robbo" Robertson and drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor following 1983's Another Perfect Day, the era of the classic trio line-up finally met its end, having already been shook by the replacement of "Fast" Eddie Clarke by Robertson following 1982's fan favourite Iron Fist. As Lemmy has told it, their label were rather unhappy with his own decisive personnel changes, lacking confidence in his new chosen lineup which they hadn't heard themselves, while once news broke of a greatest hits-style compilation, the gravel-throated frontman accurately interpreted it as "readying the death knell" for the band, hence his own insistence on including new material as well as selecting and sequencing the tracklist. Featuring the first recordings from the next Motorhead era of Lemmy alongside Phil Campbell, Wurzel, and Pete Gill, the band entered London's Britannia Row Studios for one week in May 1984 to track their contributions - 'Snaggletooth', 'Steal Your Face', 'Locomotive', and most notably, 'Killed by Death', while the collection boasts all past iterations' most integral smashers up to this point such as 'Ace Of Spades', 'Overkill' and '(We Are) The Road Crew'.
