A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
MOTORHEAD.
SELF TITLED FIRST LP.
1978 PRESSING, CHISWICK RECORDS. CWK 3008.
This is the last of my late husband's signed Motorhead LPs that I will be offering. This is my personal favourite as its on the iconic first LP cover. A really nice example. Please see my feedback if you've not seen what I've previously sold. This LP has come from one of the best vintage Motorhead collections in the country.
The Cover / VG+ condition. The front cover is autographed by Lemmy, Fast Eddie Clarke and Phil Taylor. All signatures are in blue biro pen. These signatures are 100% the real deal and look fantastic. This is a wonderful item you could frame. The front of the cover has survived very well. I will grade the back of the cover around VG as it has a surface tear and wear along the top and bottom edges with some corner wear. The important front cover is in better condition than the back. The wear to the back does not look bad. The cover also has a decent spine.
The Record / VG condition. The record is in a strict VG condition under halogen light it does have some light surface wear. It does have some sleeve removal mark, but has no deep or nasty marks. The record plays very well on both sides and I would grade the record play grade a generous VG+.
Matrix Numbers: CWK 3008 A-1U, CWK 3008 B-1U.
The Labels / VG+ condition. Both labels have no tears or writing but have some age spots.
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
