 I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
MOTORHEAD.
THE GOLDEN YEARS.
LEAVING HERE / STONE DEAD FOREVER
ORIGINAL DEMO UK BRONZE 1980 - 7" SINGLE.
Please note the cover lists 4 songs. The entry on Discogs has the promo in this 4 track cover with 2 songs blacked out in pen. I do not think they made a 2 track cover for the promo. No copies are also for sale on Discogs when I listed this. 
This is very hard to find demo promo pressing of the EP, the record only plays 2 tracks and not 4 like the standard issue!!!!
The Record / VG+ condition. A clean disc with a little vinyl haze and a few light marks under halogen bulb. The record plays well. 
The Labels / Mint- condition. 
The Cover / VG- condition. Creasing to the corners but the cover is still presentable. .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear.  The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
