Description
9 Vinyl box set from 1985.
The vinyls are all in excellent to near mint condition - I have PLAYED EACH ONE prior to selling and there any no major scratches or any jumps.
The sleeves are also in excellent condition - at the top of each sleeve in the middle, the spine is split however I think this is how they are released (error in factory?) as I have seen other sellers saying the same thing. I bought these new in this condition in 1985. It had to be factory error as all 9 are all in similar condition.
The box has not splits, some small digs and small wear on the corners - see photos
Provided as many photos as I can.
The postage should be £13.14 - due to the weight/size however ebay will only let be quote £9.50 max so postage will be £9.50 - will be sent signed for. Not sure if this will be parcel force or Royal Mail but will be posted within 2 days of purchase.
Whilst I try and match what I believe is the correct grading it's still down your own personal judgement - so if you are unhappy with the purchase please contact me.
FULL REFUND OFFERED IF YOU BELIEVE CONDITION IS LESS THAN DESCRIBEDRecord Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD:The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
