This product is a rare 1968 LP titled "In Loving Memory of Louye G. Wakefield, Vice President of Motown Records." It features various Motown artists and is a special edition release in a cardboard sleeve. The record is a 12" vinyl in black color and is near mint grading, with a very good plus sleeve grading. This LP is a unique piece of music history from the 1960s era, paying tribute to a significant figure in the Motown record label. Heads up all Motown collectors and Diana Ross fans on this historical and rare Motown album, “In Loving Memory.” This is not only a first pressing (I,e, see the bottom ring with the full Motown address) but in MONO not stereo (I.e. mono album number as M- not with MS- noting stereo). “He” is a Diana Ross solo recording as she does both lead and background vocals, Mary and Florence were kicked out of the session as they could not do their harmonies correctly, Berry being pleased with Diana’s performance.
