Description

GABRIEL MTEMBU TRIO   Himani Swidakwa/Sitepan Vata Ndiaya   South African Batho Bantu BB 755  1951  E+   this recording was made in Johannesburg by Mozambican musicians and features a male vocalist accompanied by two string instruments - the rhythm is definitely played on a guitar but I'm not sure about the lead instrument which might be a guitar capoed way up the neck or......?   There are also shakers and claves.  The b side is a real gem.

Please note that this record must be shipped from South Africa so eBay's normal shipping rates applicable to shipments within the US do not apply.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN INVOICE!  I can send winnings to any international destination from Albania to Zimbabwe.
