String Quartet No. 17 in B flat major, k. 458 "The Hunt"

10” Vinyl LP. Decca Gold Label Series DL 7517. Mono, deep groove pressing. COVER: strong VG+ light staining on cover. VINYL: VG++ a few very light sleeve scuffs.

This Vinyl LP comes from a batch of 10” & 12” vinyl LP albums that I purchased from the collection of a couple who owned a chain of record stores in the Houston, Texas area from 1947-1960. The LPs are mostly from store stock and/or store stock that they brought home and stored and are very well cared for and in extremely nice condition.  These are some of the highest quality 10” and 12” LPs I’ve ever seen from that era (mostly 1949-1958).  Covers will show only mild shelf wear and the vinyl is in almost every case a strong VG++ with NO scratches and only very mild sleeve scuffing (if any).  Most of the covers have a tiny sticker on the back cover (upper corner) that was used as a filing system.  Actual condition of covers & vinyl will be stated in the description above. GRADING. Grading is visual only unless otherwise stated. I go by Goldmine standards and try to be conservative. I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I put on EBAY. MINT means factory sealed, never opened or played. NM is opened but in visually brand new, out-of-the-packaging clean condition. NM- is not NM! Its a grade above VG++ and below Near Mint - it does not imply perfect. In my terminology Scratches are feeler type and Scuffs are just cosmetic and usually inaudible.
