LOVE CALL / HIGH TENSION ... 7-inch, 45rpm LIBRARY OST single by JEAN JACQUES ROBERT / DAVE SUCKY and JEAN MICHEL GUISE. Original French pressing on MP2000 label (MPS 504), from circa 1970. For us, the rarest MP2000 single featuring the 2 best themes from the Delirious Music Library session. LOVE CALL and HIGH TENSION are superb examples of French psychedelia with funky rhythms and sexy voices. Sleazy soundtrack themes from the Eurociné sex film Caroline Mannequin Nu and Avortement Clandestin. Stoned hip hop beats / disturbing moans / fuzz distortions / pop electronique and downtempo rhythms a la French rock group Acanthus / Jean Rollin Le Frisson Des Vampires film score on HIGH TENSION with funky jerk breaks midway. Uptempo, sex delirium with porno film vocals / killer fuzz / funky congas and hammond breaks on LOVE CALL. Great for DJs. Seldom comes up for sale. Holy grail French library 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition with some hairlines and faded, old pressing marks. Cloudy pressing band across a small section of the outer disc to 'High Tension' side. Record housed in thick card, MP2000 label custom sleeve. Iconic pop art sleeve design. Holy grail French library 45!!!
