Description

HERE ARE the New Orleans Rhythm Kings in July, 1923, in their great performances of "Mr. Jelly Lord" and "Clarinet Marmalade" (take -A).  This record features the piano of Jelly Roll Morton, in what must be the first-ever integrated recording date. Jelly was sent down from Chicago by Melrose Music, to help supervise the session!  The record, Gennett 5220, is in lovely E- condition, with a little label damage, and slight wear.  Sounded fine the last time I played it!
