Description
Hi all, for your consideration we have:
Title: MR WONDERFUL BY FLEETWOOD MAC
Cat No: 7 – 63205 – STEREO
Issue: Original 1968 issue on the BLUE HORIZON Label
Vinyl Condition visual: The vinyl grades as VG; the vinyl has retained a little of its gloss and minimal sheen. The disc is clean overall with numerous light scratches and handling marks on both sides. Nothing too serious at all and all commensurate with age and with the grade allocated.
Vinyl Condition Playback: VG; Some audible crackle at the run-in, however, this ceases for most part when the music kicks in. Thereafter it play’s back with some mild static and the occasional click and pop in places; it’s fairly quiet between tracks which is pleasing. Despite the run-in and mild static, there is little lessening in sound quality overall and is an enjoyable listen. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays through with no skips or jumps.
Label Condition: VG-; as you can see in the photo some spindle marks and two signatures on side 1, aside from this no other damage and all text is clean and legible.
Cover Front: VG; the laminated cover is in good fettle, some creasing in the laminate in a few places, mainly but not exclusively at the edges and some rubbing. A little ring-wear when held to the light and there is a small signature top right.
Cover Back: VG; essentially as for the front, rubbed in places and some laminate creases more so at the edges as you would expect. Ring wear is evident. Inside the gate-fold cover it is clean with some age related marks but nothing too drasric at all. Some wear at the inner spine to and bottom.
Spine: VG-; the spine has rounded off although but all the text is still legible. A few creases in the laminate. .
Corners: G; all corners are bumped, rounded-off and shows some loss of colour particularly the spine corners.
Opening Edge. Fairly straight although a few bumps and knocks through use – not too bad at all.
Summary: A wonderful album in its own right and this copy is in VG- condition overall as a package. It would make a great addition to most collections and particularly those that collect this great label.
Postage: With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no-nonsense refund if you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course, which hopefully provides you with sufficient confidence to take a shot, and if you do, good luck.
