Description
Columbia Records stereo MS 6298, earlyiest gray 6 eye label disc has no "CBS" at the top of the label, pressed in the US. Promotional copy, has "Not for Sale" sticker on the disc label, and red promo stamp on the back of the jacket. David Oistrakh plays the Tchaikovsky violin concerto with Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. See pics for program details.
Disc NM-, a couple small faint marks at the beginning of each side do not sound. Plays NM, with virtually no surface noise. Play graded. Great sound, maybe one of the best sounding recordings of the Philadelphia Orchestra, in my opinion. Jacket VG++
