Description

Title: The Best Of Muddy Waters   CONDITION: Record: VG to VG- condition. Still playable but plenty used. Later blue label. Name written on side-A label. A better record would be...better. Sleeve:  VG++ condition. Name written on back on right side opening. Thanks De De! Tiny upper right corner wear. Lower right corner stain with a pen mark on back. Light overall wear. "Electronically Altered For Stereo" sticker in lower left corner. Beautiful spine! Tiny lower center seam split. Nice corners.   Label: Chess 1427  Overall Condition: Pretty good copy. Description:  The one to have! I'm being as critical as I can be on grading this. Always ship my records packed between thick cardboard in a mailer with the disc in a white sleeve out of the cover, which is in a plastic sleeve. Really hard to find this cover in nice shape. This cover doesn't take wear very well & they're usually wasted. This one is still pretty nice. Light wear overall. I wish De De Davison hadn't gone crazy with the red marker. GEEZ! Chess had a bunch of 50's mono covers laying around, so when it came time to go down the stereo road, even fake stereo, they just stuck a sticker on the front and didn't have to make up any new covers until they ran out of the old mono covers. Leonard Chess knew how to save $$. If you have a nice record with a beat up cover, then this auction is for you.
