On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Muddy Waters (with Otis Spann, Paul Butterfield, Michael Bloomfield & many others!) called "Fathers & Sons" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Chess labels!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE CHESS LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE, AND IS AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS CHESS LABELS, 1ST PRESS A1/B1/C1/D1 MATRIX ENDINGS, PLAIN INNER SLEEVES, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' GATEFOLD 'WIDE SPINE' COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Chess UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The Cat. No is CRLS 4556 on the 1st Press Chess Labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels on BOTH records are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVENT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl on BOTH records is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINE LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that both records play almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The records must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  A BRILLIANT SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in plain inner sleeves which are in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Gatefold 'Wide Spine' Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO nasty edge splits, only VERY slight edge wear, NO sticker marks, barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL (PERFECT side words!), NO ringwear, only VERY slight corner wear, NO sticker tears, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO rubbing, a small repaired split in the reverse opening edge (this is EXTREMELY well done - and the cover is 100% strong here!), NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
