Description

Beautiful copy of the true original 1954 first pressing of Muddy Waters' I'm Your Hoochie Kooche Man b/w She's So Pretty on Chess 78rpm 1560. This is the very first error issue with the misspelled "Kooche", later corrected to "Cooche". Top Chicago Blues classic, and hearing it on the original 78 is like nothing else. The CDs and LPs, and even the 45s don't have anything like the presence and excitement of the 78s. And this copy really sounds fantastic. A couple of light superficial scuffs but really a beautiful shiny and clean copy that plays pretty much flawlessly and just beautifully. The labels are also nearly pristine with no marks, rips, stickers, cracks, or spindle marks. This is a truly top original copy, hard to beat.
