MUDDY WATERS-SING BIG BILL 1960 CHESS RECORDS LP 1444 IN A SOLID VG-VG+ CONDITION. Here's the one and only Muddy Waters singing the songs of another giant of the blues, Big Bill Broonzy. Pretty much a Muddy classic if ever there was one. This is from the 1960 pressing, high fidelity recording of this great icon of Chicago Blues. A must for the fan of the genre.
Ok now for the grading, I just played this, other than a quick skip at the beginning of Southbound Train, it plays fine, hardly any crackling(quiet moments if any). There is some light scrathes that do not effect play and it could use a "real" cleaning".
The skip is caused by a vinyl defect when this was made, not a scratch(it looks like a vinyl pimple, not sure how else to describe it), so my overall impression is a solid VG, some might say VG+. The cover has a small split by the bottom mouth of the cover but besides that, it's in great shape. The original inner sleeve is intact. A good buy!!
