Absolutely beautiful copies of both volumes of The Music of Leroy Anderson conducted by Frederick Fennell with the Eastman-Rochester Pops Orchestra. Volume one, on 1957 Mercury Living Presence Stereo SR90009, is on the famed TAS list of the greatest audiophile LPs ever made. Volume 2, on 1958 Mercury Living Presence Stereo SR90043, equally deserves to be included on that list. Both of these albums are absolutely dazzlingly recorded lush orchestral magic. Hard to imagine it until you experience it, and no better way than on original copies in close-to-mint condition. These are both almost perfectly mint and both play flawlessly and simply beautifully. I have never heard better copies. Both covers are also stunningly gorgeous, with barely the slightest sign of use. Crisp corners and edges, shiny laminated color artwork, color backs (only on first pressings), no seam splits, no markings, no flaws. You will be hard-put to find copies to beat these. Amazing.
