MUSIC OF PERU
Ethnic Folkways Library FE 4415, 1950 release. Very interesting LP, listing contents as Mestizo, Quechua, Ayamara, Marinera, Yaravi, Huayno, Toril, Vals Criollo, War Dance, Pan-Pipers. Included original notes insert by Harry Tschopik, Jr.
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT+
Virtually flawless. The faintest hint of a 1/16" spindle mark on side 1.
Visual: VERY GOOD+
There is a small amount of set dust and wear from the inner-sleeve. There are also a few hairline marks visible under strong LED light. I am currently waiting for supplies to make cleaning fluid, but most of the dust should come out.
Audio: VERY GOOD+
There is some general static, especially in quiet parts, but no loud clicks or disturbances.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD+
All seams are solid. There is some general wear around the album from age, and taps to the corners, though no creases. The lower part of the spine suffers a small amount of paper loss. The seams near the mouth are separating slightly, about 1/8". There is a price sticker on the rear.
Insert: VERY GOOD+
Close to excellent. There is a crease in the upper left-hand corner and a small charcoal mark near the upper middle.
