Description
A great opportunity to buy an AUTOGRAPHED copy of "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" with Music from the Original Soundtrack of the Paramount Film.
This is a U.S. re-issue released in 1980 on the MCA label (Gloversville pressing)(MCA 37124), the original LP and Film having been released on 1971.
Gene Wilder played the part of Willy Wonka and his autograph can be found on the back cover (see photo). I have no proof of this at all and it IS NOT Certified, but the record's previous owner assured me that she was present and witnessed him signing the autograph in the early 1980s.
The vinyl is in a lovely clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are just a few light surface marks evident, but nothing serious. I have played the whole of both sides and they play fine and sound great.
The labels are clean and free from any stickers, writing or major defects.
The vinyl is perfectly flat and has no warps of any description.
The record comes housed in a new inner sleeve in EXCELLENT condition.
The picture cover is in an overall EXCELLENT condition, with just minor wear noticeable at each end of the spine. The edges are really strong and the text on the spine is very clear (see photo).
