Description
Firstly, check my feedback for 100% peace of mind.
Here we have....
None of these discs are 'MINT' or even close - however they have all been play tested, and despite poor looking vinyl I can confirm that they play well. I am selling them for a friend who was going to give them to me, it turns out I already own all these records.
All three of these records command reasonable prices these days so I am offering these less than perfect copies at a bargain price.
THEY HAVE ALL BEEN PLAY TESTED BY ME ON A PIONEER PL112D DECK with WHARFEDALE SPEAKERS.
I wouldn't list these if they weren't worth having but due to the visual condition of these discs I must highlight the importance of reading the full descriptions.
I AM NOT OFFERING REFUNDS ON THESE RECORDS.
ISN'T ANYTHING : CRELP 040
Sleeve: Has some cat claw marks alongside the left hand side, there is a small 1 cm tear on that side too.
Vinyl: Shows signs of wear and is marked, but it plays well. A couple of pops on SEVERAL GIRLS GALORE and some mild crackle between songs and during the few quieter sections - but overall it sounds pretty good. As you will know - this is (generally) a loud album so crackling won't really be apparent or ruin your enjoyment.
YOU MADE ME REALISE 12" CRE 055(T)
Cover is in Very Good condition - barely a mark outside of acceptable wear due to age. No cat scratches this time. Again the vinyl is heavily marked but aside from a couple of pops on 'Thorn' / 'Cigarette In Your Bed' it plays very well.
GLIDER 12" - CRE 073T
The cover has been heavily scratched on the left hand side by a cat (who clearly loved MBV.) Sleeve is a bit grubby too. Vinyl looks visually poor.
Crackles during the start of 'SOON' then plays fine once the track develops. DON'T ASK WHY / OFF YOUR FACE have mild crackle but nothing major, in fact they sound fine - simply can't be bothered to play GLIDER (why break a habit of a lifetime?)
Basically these are superior collection fillers ie: not trashed enough to bin, actually nowhere near that bad - but far from MINT / EX.
You are looking at FAIR /GOOD in terms of condition - but the audio performance is generally strong - GOOD / VG
