It feels good to know that you share my passion regarding the 50's and 60's and the music that changed the world, forever. It was a blessing for me to be a teenager during the early 50's, listening, dancing and Bopping to the the best of the best.

Most of the albums you will be viewing are from my 50+ year old collection and are original issues. Sometimes I include albums given to me or purchased from friends or relatives. I do not go to swap meets, garage sales, or thrift stores. I do go to record conventions as time permits. You will be bidding for very rare, original issue and quality albums. Sometime I will list rare re-issues or later pressings. They will be stated as (re) in the listing. I use Goldmine Standard Catalog as a grading guideline and tend to be conservative in my approach. 

All records are played through prior to listing for accurate grading.

(NM or NM-) NM records are shiny with no visible defects such as writing, stickers or needle marks on the labels. The album cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any signs of human handling. It also will have no ring wear.

(VG+) or (Excellent) May show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK. The cover might be marred by a cutout marking, small hole punch, a cut in the spine or a promotional stamp and even a tiny bit of ring wear.

(VG) Have more obvious flaws such as lack of gloss, groove wear, light scratches and needle marks. When played there will be surface noise that will not overpower the music overall. Noise in the passages, between songs is common. The cover may have minor seam splits, writing, tape, stickers, ring wear and scuffs.

(VG-) Is just a compounding of the VG category. Many obvious flaws but if the record is rare, may very well be worthwhile. I usually do not list records lower than the above grades.

Remember, when you are bidding, most of these records are usually 50+ years old and have been out of print for a very long time. When you consider that, damage, loss, and normal use or wear has reduced the market to the point that few of these wonderful treasures are even available today.

I ship worldwide and accept Paypal, Cashier's check, or personal check. My auctions usually close Saturday or Sunday and I ship the next day (Monday morning) with a delivery confirmation or Customs Declaration. If you are not getting your albums within a few days, check with your post office.

  My auctions end on Saturday or Sunday and I ship the following day, Monday. Every shipment is stamped and dated the day of shipment. I have no control over the time of arrival to your home or place of business. When you receive your album (s), please look at the date on the Delivery confirmation or in the case of out of the country shipments, the Customs Declaration and if you feel your album (s) were overdue, please contact your postal department and let them know.

Due to the value of my collection, I will help you save on shipping fees when you have multiple winnings. I have ordered special album boxes for shipping. All boxes will have four FRAGILE, Phonograph Record stickers. This is an attempt to let the postal people know they are handling sensitive boxes. There will also be a mailing confirmation. FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION: Shortly after this album was released in November of 1959, I purchased three copies. It must be mentioned that the song Death of an Angel, written and recorded by Donald Woods in 1955, was banned from many Radio Stations, including those in my home town. The song and Richard Berry's Louie Louie id included with this most rare album. You are bidding for one of the rarest and most elusive R&B albums ever recorded, 12 Flip Hits and recorded on the Flip label 1001 in High Fidelity. The artists include, the Six Teens, Donald Woods, and Richard Berry, who wrote and recorded the first Louie Louie in 1959. The thick colorful album is no 50 years old and in very nice condition. There is no ring wear, discoloration, writing, tears or wrinkles. There has been some very neat seam repair. The liner note in back are clean, showing only a hint of discoloration. The black, shiny record is just plain beautiful and the labels are clean, showing few light spindle marks from very little use. I inspected the record under a 100 watt light and there were no scratches, scuffs or line grooves, just some paper cuts from removing the record from the sleeve. When played just before listing, it was like listening to a new record, no sticks, skips, pops or hisses. The songs include; Side 1, A Casual Look, Arrow Of Love, Only Jim, Teen Age promise, My Special Guy, Why Do I Go To School (The Six Teens). Side 2, Death Of An Angel, This Paradise, Stay With Me Always (Donald Woods), Louie Louie, The Mess Around, Take The Key (Richard Berry). The winner of this album will have accomplished what few collectors ever do, own 12 flip hits. Based on the Goldmine guide, the album is graded a strong VG, the quality of the listening experience MINT and the record NM-. There is no reserve.
