Princeton  Label out of California
Original pressing with matrix numbers stamped in the deadwax
High School Blues may have possibly been the inspiration for the classic Dale Hawkins song "Back To School Blues".  According to  Website, this Mack Vickery release was issued in October of 1958, and Dale Hawkins song was released September 14, 1959. The writers credits on Dale Hawkins show Mascari-Hawkins, and the writers credit on Mack Vickery show Mascari-Mac-Wenzlaff. The same 3 writers credits are given on the flip side of Mack Vickery, so it seems that perhaps there was some plagiarism on the part of Dale Hawkins, who may not have been involved in writing this tune???
