Condition Description & Other Information ### Mackenzie Theory were an Australian Prog Rock/Jazz Rock group active from 9/1971-5/1974.... played an important role with early Mushroom Records sales, and copies available in great condition are now very rare!! They performed at the inaugural Sunbury Pop Festival in January 1972 and at the second festival in January 1973. Their track, "New Song", was included on the triple live album, The Great Australian Rock Festival Sunbury 1973 which appeared on Mushroom Records in April. Their debut album, Out of the Blue, recorded live in the studio, was issued in July, and it peaked at No. 19 on Go-Set's Australian Albums chart in August! ### The Vinyl is described as Excellent & was fully play-tested earlier today, playing with a wonderful playback sound, average background & no skips or stops. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of extremely fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. Cont'd... The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Gatefold Cover is described as VG. Despite this low grading it has a very strong structure & has most of its high glossy finish still in place. There is visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour & paper losses to especially to the edges & spine. No seam splits to edges... I assume the spine has a seam split which has been re-enforced from within & externally using black & clear tape. Couple of stains here & there.
