Description

This auction is for a SoCal punk ultra-rarity that after several years of searching, no light has been shed as to how rare it is or any clue of the existence whatsoever. 

The details:

This is a blank (light pink) label record that appears to be a mis-pressed test pressing of the sole EP from LA's little kid punkers, MAD SOCIETY, released in 1981. 

One side of the record (matrix etchings: "EHR 2 A RE 2" & "L-6437") contains the music of the MAD SOCIETY EP's B-side. 

The other side of the record (matrix etchings: "ST 102A" & "L-6586") contains a soul / doo-wop / R&B number with lyrics about "first impressions." 

I have searched everywhere with the catalog numbers and matrix info and the lyrics and cannot identify the band or the track. If anyone has that info, please pass it along! 

Both record and sleeve are solid EX/EX

All you SoCal punk super-collectors need to bid hard on this. May never turn up again.
