Description

Maddox Brothers & Rose 12" 78 one sided acetate This was a test cut for the B side of Blue Ribbon 3S-32, an EP produced by 4-Star in 1954. First track is by the Maddox Brothers, second is by the Oak Ridge Quartet, and third by The Herrington Trio. Dear Lord Take My Hand, Victory, Vacation In Heaven This 3 song acetate was stored in 4 Star company files On the old sleeve it has 4* 35-32-B-C, same as the numbers in the dead wax
The playing grooves of this acetate start about 1/3 into the record and is in VG+++ condition. There is some edge chipping long before the playing grooves.
This 78 must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse for over 65 years.
