Description
Rare and obscure proto-punk/ power pop release from 1977. One of the first Swedish "punk" releases together with Rävjunk, Butter Utter, Homo Electrica etc. This was the band that inspired Four Mandarines/ Mandarines to release their debut, which was done a few months later the same year as this one.
Musically I wouldn't call this straight forward punk, but rather in the vein of early Television's poppier moments. Hard to put a label on it, but it's been listed as one of the first Swedish punk releases on numerous places, even if it's more power pop in my opinion. The a-side, Inner Voice is great none the less. The b-side is a cover of Dylan's Knocking on heavens door, and pretty unnecessary.
