Hi all,

This listing is for Two Copies of the Madness Absolutely 1980 14 Track Stiff Records U.K. Vinyl LP’s (Seez 29). One is the first version of this Absolutely Vinyl that was released which is now known as the Alternate Withdrawn rare front cover & the second of these Absolutely Vinyl has the second more common version of the front cover with a more upbeat pose. The Vinyl & the inner paper sleeves are identical as is the back cover of each Vinyl cover. The original Alternate Cover was deemed to be too miserable by the band & hence the second more upbeat cover was released.

Both of these Two Madness Absolutely 1980 14 Track Stiff Records U.K. Vinyl LP’s are in a good condition with both having been played only a handful of times in the period that I’ve owned them & both have been tested prior to listing & both Vinyl play all the way throughout with no skips or jumps on either. The Vinyl that comes with the Alternate cover sleeve has one big scratch and some minor marks on Side One & no scratches on Side Two. The Vinyl that comes with the Normal Cover is near mint with no marks or scratches to it. The Cairo East Inner Sleeves to both Vinyl are in good condition with no rips, tears or stains to them. The Outer Absolutely Alternate Cover Sleeve has one dent on the bottom front left of the Sleeve & one bigger bend/set of creases on the bottom front right corner. It also has some surface marks to the front of it and minimal edgewear. This Alternate Cover is coming away at the bottom of it on both sides where the original glue has worn away leading to the bottom of the Sleeve being open. There is also cello tape running alongside one side of the back of the Alternate Sleeve all of which I’ve tried to capture in the photos of this listing. The other more common Cover Sleeve has some creases on both the left & right of the front cover & some edgewear & it is not coming away at the bottom of the Sleeve like on the Alternate Cover Sleeve & it is overall in a lot better condition than the Alternate Cover Sleeve. It does have a Gilbert’s price sticker on the front cover though which depending on your views adds to this Vinyl Sleeve or doesn’t. I’ve tried to accurately describe these two Madness Absolutely 1980 14 Track Stiff Records U.K. Vinyl LP’s which I’m sure that you’ll find is reflected in the photos of this listing. These Two Madness Absolutely 1980 14 Track Stiff Records U.K. Vinyl LP’s both come from a pet & smoke free home.

These two Madness Absolutely 1980 14 Track Stiff Records U.K. Vinyl LP’s will be packed very very carefully using plenty of bubble wrap & cardboard stiffeners. Just to add that I do not rip buyers off on postage & the postage that is quoted for each option is the actual postage price with the cost of packaging included in the prices.
