Format: 12 inch Vinyl Picture Disc. 45rpm.
Notes:
One of Madonna’s most famous mis-pressed collectibles. The UK 12” single of ‘Cherish’ pressed with the correct acetate plate but with the wrong picture inside. This most likely happened because of an error at the pressing plant when a few of the wrong paper picture disc sheets were added to the machine when the ‘Cherish’ picture disc was being pressed. It has the Madonna tracks:

with the catalogue number W2883(TP) pressed in the run-out groove.
The artwork is for Fish’s ‘State Of Mind’ (catalogue number: 12EMPD 109).
Condition:
Looks good – from a distance and plays all the right (or wrong) tracks the way it should. However, on close inspection, the disc is dotted with small scuffs and scratches. The sound is rather bad, being very crackly and clicky. I don’t recommend buying this if you just want to listen to the music in decent quality. A great novelty Madonna collectible none-the-less.
