Madonna -. Ray of Light. Blue Coloured Vinyl, Double LP Set Limited Re-issue, Sainsbury's 2017.
A copy of Madonna's Ray of Light album, originally released back in 1998. This is a re-issued version, on double blue coloured vinyl from 2017 on Maverick Records - it was released to limited quantities in Sainsbury's supermarkets, here in the UK.
I've had this album since new, and it has hardly been played and has been well looked after - please continue to read the following regarding condition.
Sleeve - graded as NM. Super condition, with no visible signs of damage to note - no corner dents or dings to the cover with only minimal wear. With original inner sleeves, again no issues there. It is offered and has been stored throughout in additional polylined sleeves to help protect the discs.
Media Condition: Overall, graded as EXC. (discs individually graded seperately below). Have played both discs from start to finish and minimal surface noise throughout, and plays really well on my relatively decent system set up. The re-mastering of this vinyl set is really good.
Record two - Near Mint. Nothing to note - plays great
Record one - VG+ Overall, plays really good. On Side two mind there is a small white mark (approx. 1cm) on the disc (between Skin and Nothing Really Matters). Having had this vinyl since new, can confirm that this mark has been there since I first opened it - if I remember rightly from online, there were some manufacturing issues with some pressings at the time with these.
Anyhow, in terms of how it affects play, there's approximately twenty seconds of pops and clicks between the tracks - honestly, to me it's the sort of sound I'd expect to hear every now and again whilst playing vinyl, and I don't think overall it interupts the listening experience - I'd say the defect is more aesthetic than anything else.To confirm, it doesn't cause the disc to skip in any way. But, if you have any questions on this, please get in touch to ask before placing a bid, as I'm unable to accept returns on this item due on this basis.
Additional, there may be the odd surface mark on the discs, but can confirm that this does not in any way affect playback, other than that mentioned above. I try to be as transparent as possible when selling items - please check out my feedback.
