Description

artist: Various Artists
title: "Magic of Love" (4:26) b/w "Packing Up" (3:33) & "A Person Inside of Me" (3:06)
label: 1981 Artisan 3 Productions, 6703
description: Three-song single from the 1981 musical comedy The Shepherd, which was an off-Broadway production by Tim Wortham & Cynthis Biggs (both associated with TSOP and Philadelphia International Records labels). There's an obvious Gospel influence on all three tracks, but the A-side is a Modern Soul monster by Janice 'Nicki' Harrison with Disco Rap verses. There's no documentation of this record whatsoever on the internet. Comes in generic factory sleeve autographed by eight members of the original cast.
grade: VG. Comes in generic factory sleeve, which is autographed. Record is VG. Has a rolling warp, but both sides play fine with minimal audible defects. Has light scratches and scuffs, but plays uninterrupted with minimal surface noise. Soundclips are included.
