Description
Selling a copy of The Magnetic Fields’ “69 Love Songs” on six (6) 10” vinyl records. Originally released in 1999, this is the 2020 repress on limited edition translucent red vinyl. The box set features 69 of Stephin Merrit’s 60’s-inspired love songs. Both depressing and hilarious, the set encompasses almost three hours of music over the six discs.
This set is used but has been played maybe two times ever and is like new and minty fresh. No surface noise is present during playback and all discs play through from beginning to end.
The inner jackets are similarly great, with some minor corner bumps on vol. 1 & 2 from the original shipping. The inner sleeves have some splits because, again, the set was shipped sealed instead of with the discs removed. Finally, the outer box itself has a break in the corner because, you guessed it, the weight of six discs in a box being shipped across the country was not a great idea.
So costmetically, the packaging is not perfect, though it looks fine on a shelf. The discs themselves are near perfect, and the whole package is a joy to own.
Media Mail shipping is included in the final price. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.
