Description
Complete collection of the Mahler symphonies on vinyl. Decca. Georg Solti. 1964. Catalogue number SOLT1-15. This was part of my late father-in-law's collection; left in his will to my son. My father-in-law was meticulous with all of his possessions. The records appear to be in excellent condition and well looked after. The records show very little sign of being played. The paper sleeves show signs of a little ageing; slight marks around the edges where the glue that holds the plastic insert in place appear to have degraded. The outer case has a small break towards the bottom of the spine; about 2cm long. I have checked both sides of every LP and have not seen any signs of wear or scratches. There is a detailed booklet. Again, this shows some signs of ageing; light brown spots on the front cover. Inside pages appear perfect.
