Mahler Symphony 2 Mehta UK Decca SXL 6744/5
Ileana Cortrubus, Christa Ludwig and the Vienna Philharmonic and State Opera Chorus conducted by Zubin Mehta deliver a stunning performance of the Mahler Symphony No. 2. A two record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 6744-5). The records are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The gatefold cover is excellent.
