Maiden Voyage, by Herbie Hancock, vintage early pressing
This is an excellent early pressing vintage copy of this amazing album, Blue Note BLP-84195. The cover is in excellent shape, and still has the original shrink wrap, with some tape to hold it on. The irregular whitish area at the upper left of the front cover is where a sticker was removed from the shrink wrap -- it's not on the cover itself, just on the plastic shrink.
The vinyl is also excellent, basically new. The dead wax inscription on the disc shows BST-8419-A RE1. I bought this record in New York City, in the early 70's. As I did with all my records at that time, I copied the music to tape, which means the record has only been played a couple of times. Please see the pictures above for details of the cover and the records, etc..
I've included a picture of an Empire 598 turntable, which is the only turntable model this record was ever played on, with the best Stanton cartridge available at the time.
