Glenn Miller

V Disc #504 12" 78-rpm Record

Here is a World War II era V Disc with two numbers by Major Glenn Miller and the Band of the AAF Training Command. The Glenn Miller titles are the classic "The Army Air Corps Song" and a hot swing number " I Hear You Screamin". The flip side features Woody Herman and his Orchestra playing "A Kiss Goodnight" and "Northwest Passage" both driving swing numbers. The record is in excellent condition with only very light surface wear, this record has a very slight warp but plays very well on my Rek-o-Kut with Shure cartridge and 78-rpm type stylus, I just played both sides of this record and it sounds great, a few clicks here and there.
