ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This handsome and very rare LP from Club Français du Disque (266, French pressing, pink label – ED1, stereo) features legendary violinist Paul Makanowitzky in a pairing of Mozart's Violin Concertos No. 3 in G Major K. 216 and No. 4 in D Major K. 218. In both works he is accompanied in sterling fashion by the Orchestre Chambre de la Sarre under the direction of Karl Ristenpart. Really, this recording is quite rare in any pressing – in the first stereo edition even more so.

CONDITION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.

The condition of the jacket is VERY GOOD-. There is edge wear, general aging and a visible crease to the lower-left corner. However, there are no seam splits, owners' markings, or other defects and the rather thin paper jacket remains solid and attractive. Overall, a VG- collector's copy.

The condition of the LP itself is EXCELLENT. Visually, there are rubs, papers sleeve and other non-sounding marks. In terms of sound, although the surfaces are not perfectly silent, really this is a fine copy and playback is superb. However, if you must have a flawless or NM copy, then please do not buy this LP. Overall, this is an excellent collector's copy.
