Malombo - Music Of The Spirit

(Third Ear Records TEE 01 LP 1971)

 

This is an original South African LP pressing. It was only ever issued in South Africa. It has a gatefold sleeve, & comes with a polythene-lined inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl.

This is a very rare South African Jazz LP. It is a live recording & features Julian Bahula on african drums, Abe Cindi on flute & "Lucky" Ranku on guitar. It says on the sleeve that this LP is limited to just 200 copies!

 

Gatefold Sleeve: There is a small sticker tear on the front. There is also rubbing wear & ringwear. Good++ condition.

Vinyl: Moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. Good++ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays very well. There is some light crackle in the quieter places.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
