Very hard to find recalled 1966 US original “toilet” cover for the Mamas And The Papas stereo debut LP “If You Can Believe Your Eyes And Ears” (Dunhill DS-50006).
NOTE: This is for the cover only. The record itself is very common so it should not be difficult to find a record to go into the cover.
Like the famous Beatles “butcher” cover, the original cover for this LP with the toilet clearly shown was deemed in poor taste and was quickly replaced with a cover that had a scroll over the toilet. This, of course, made this original cover an instant collectible.
The cover shows some light wear and a few light wrinkles front and back. The seams show more wear and the spine has been reinforced/repaired with clear acid-free archival tape.
NO reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items!).
In the U.S. the winning bidder pays choice of media mail ($4.00) or priority shipping (based on ZIP code). Airmail shipping and handling to Canada is $7.00. All other locations outside the US are $14.00. Good luck!
