We all use a toilet everyday. Why the American public would be offended by one on an album cover is a mystery to me. Sure the floor looks a bit gross around the base, but it has a nice pearly seat. And maybe it's not a good idea to have a pooper on a band's debut album. It might suggest ideas about the music within. So, like the Beatles' butcher cover, it was quickly edited. They covered it with a scroll listing the songs that quickly became hits, a very convenient scenario. It's a great album. Easily the best with tunes like 'Monday Monday', 'California Dreamin' and 'I Call Your Name'. But I am certain that the highly collectable cover will be the attraction of this auction. I will start bidding at the year of release.

The cover is in great condition. It has no split seams, writing or ringwear, only light shelfwear and minor corner wear. The front cover photo is in EXCELLENT condition and quite displayable.
To make this auction a lil more interesting, I will be providing two disks. The original disk is VG-. It plays through quite well but has bouts or surface noise. I will be adding a NM 1968 disk for clean listening enjoyment. It will include the Dunhill ad sleeve.

I ship records properly, 'disk out of cover' in a 2 ml poly sleeve and sent in a cardboard LP mailer. Questions are welcomed. Bid with confidence.

VINYL GRADING

M- = a pristine record. Displays NO marks, appears to be unplayed.

NM = a near mint record. May have VERY minor marks that can ONLY be seen in bright light and plays with NO surface noise.

EX = a sweet record. May have only a few micro-sleeve lines or minor superficial marks that do NOT affect play. NM-

VG+ = a well-kept record. May have superficial marks but plays with MINIMAL surface sound ONLY in quiet passages if any at all.

VG = a nice used record. Has visible marks, light scratches and MINOR surface noise only in quiet passages but is still a very good listening experience.

VG- = a well-used record. Has marks, minor scratches, some surface noise, but still plays through with NO skips and is still enjoyable. This grade is only sold by me if the record is a rare collectable.
