After the disbandment of Manfred Mann, members of the former band Manfred Lubowitz (organ, police whistle) and Mike Hugg (piano, lead vocals) formed the band Manfred Mann Chapter Three. Additionally, the band was joined by Bernie Living (alto saxophone, flute), Steve York (bass, guitar, harp) and Craig Collinge (drums) and a five-person wind section. Manfred Mann Chapter Three is the band's debut album. The group, unlike the previous band 'Manfred Mann', departed from psychedelic rock, rock and roll and blues sounds, but defined the character of their music as jazz-rock.
It is also interesting that it is one of the first three albums released by Vertigo. Although the album gained critical acclaim, due to its poor promotion of the then new label Vertigo, sales of it was weak. That's why today this album in the first press is so rare and very much wanted.

Record grading:
The side of the album looks and plays very well. There are only a few superficial scratches without affecting the audio quality. No crackles, skips, noises. Only static clicks in several places. The sound is warm and pleasant to the ear. Generally between VG+ and EX
Unfortunately, the side one doesn't look very good. There is a scratch that goes in a circle from the 1st half up to the 4th track. You can see it in the pictures. There are cracks in several places and there are a few small jumps. Track 5 sounds good now. However, I judge honestly at Fair and when it comes to the quality of sound on Good

Labels: As you can see in the pictures, the labels are in very good condition. There is no scratch, smudged letters or dirt. EX condition.
Cover grading:
Kept in good condition. Minor abrasions in several places. Also the corners slightly worn. No text, no dirt or tears. It looks better inside. I rate it on VG but you can judge it exactly by yourself after the pictures.
